Heat Pumps & Heat Pump Ready Systems

(But Didn't Know Who to ask) . . .

Q. - There has been a lot of talk recently about heat pumps but what are they? What do they do? What's so good about a heat pump?

A. - A heat pump is an air conditioner in reverse. Instead of taking the heat From your home and discharging it outside like an air conditioner it Takes the heat from outside Air and discharges it into your home. (There is heat in the air even at 0 Fahrenheit). This low cost heat source Costs about half as much to deliver into your home as the standard Electric furnace you presently are using, and.... You get the benefit Of summer air conditioning in the same unit.

Q. - What does a "heat pump ready" furnace, do for me?

A. - First all the expensive sheet metal alterations are eliminated. The Special heat pump cabinet is already in place. The installation involves Sliding a special heat pump coil into the cabinet-running tubing from the Coil to the outdoor unit-wire the system and you can start saving-up to 50% and more the first day.

Q. - What does it cost to add the heat pump components, to a heat pump ready system ?

A. - With your heat pump-ready furnace system already installed, you have About 1/3 of the cost already completed. This means that installing a heat pump ready system is your best dollar buy. And a heat pump is your best dollar buy in heating.

Q. - What about noise-will it bother my neighbors?

A. - The new heat pump is designed with a good neighbor policy in mind.
